Hi Everyone - Tim here, updating everyone on the progress of our adoption process and parenting in Ghana.
Today, Allie and Judy (my mom) made it to the orphanage! After 19 hours of travel, a quick rest, another plane ride (small plane) and traffic over rough roads, the mamas made it to the Offin Children's Centre yesterday (Tues) afternoon.

Allie was able to send me a very brief update via text message.
"We have arrived and Eli was better than ever! I was able to easily hold him and feed him, change him and he fell asleep on me while I prayed over him and sobbed my eyes out."

Upon receiving this - I wept as well.
So many of our prayers are already answered in the safe travel and peaceful first contact with Eli. We have been praying for weeks that God would go ahead of us and prepare a way for a continued loving relationship - even in his little heart. God is so good!
While Eli, Allie, and Grandma Judy enjoy some time together (and Ghana's Independence Day parade and festivities tomorrow) please continue to be in prayer that our I-600 is approved in the next few days. This would truly kick-start our final appointments and get us that much closer to being home, together, in Michigan.
More to come soon...
As always, we could not do this without your prayers and support. Thank you!
-Tim
